Clara White Mission – Mother’s Community Service Project: The Chapter has dedicated to volunteer at the Clara White Mission once a month! The Clara White Mission’s “soup kitchen” service provides hot meals to the general homeless population seven days a week. The Jacksonville  Jack and Jill Chapter volunteered at the Second Harvest Food Bank  of North Florida which mission is to distribute healthy food to hungry families and to educate the public about the causes and possible solutions to problems of domestic hunger. Over 10 million pounds of food  move through  their distribution center each year. Our Jack and Jill teens helped this organization  sustain families in our community. We had 20 teens and 6 mothers to volunteer at Second Harvest Food Bank assisting in stocking food shelves, sorting foods and assembling food boxes for families. It was a very rewarding experience!  Our young teens really represented well!
